Here we publish changes that affect petrol relief registration, relief amounts, monthly quotas and petrol prices.
ECC approves PM Fuel Relief package on 14 September 2026
The ECC has approved the fuel relief package. Motorcycles and rickshaws can get Rs500 relief per week, equal to 5 litres at Rs100 per litre. Cars up to 800cc can get Rs1,000 relief every 10 days, with a monthly limit of 30 litres. The scheme is for non-commercial users and one vehicle per owner.
